Dust
Personal documentary
Australia / 2020
Photographic journal from a roadtrip I made in Australia early 2020, shortly after the bushfires that ravaged vast areas of the country. I had an idea in mind; documenting the remains left by the catastrophy as if I was shooting the very last days of our world. I tried to draw this photographic essay as a parable to illustrate the realisation of how important things are when they about to get lost. Last pieces of human connection, crumbs of spared life, with the belief that this can only be told with its own language: sensible and mystic.
