Victor Marvillet is a French photographer based in Asia, where he has lived for over thirteen years — first in China, now in Japan. Born in the French Alps, he works across editorial and commercial photography, with a parallel body of personal work rooted in documentary, with a more cinematic aesthetics and intimate storytelling.
His photography is defined by a meticulous sensitivity to colour and atmosphere and deep commitment to create organic images. Beyond Asia, his projects have brought him to South Africa, Zambia, Australia, and Louisiana.
A regular contributor to LVMH's Eyes magazine, he has worked with Icicle, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Fendi, Nike, Suntory, Adidas, Delsey, Adobe, and much more.
